    Project Overview

    Vortex Cheer required a modern digital platform to manage athletes, parents, coaches, training sessions and communications — while also acting as the public-facing website for the club. The previous setup relied on fragmented communication channels and manual admin processes that couldn't scale as the club grew.

    The Goal

    Replace fragmented communication and manual admin processes with a streamlined, mobile-first platform that serves owners, coaches, parents, and athletes — all from a single system.

    The Challenge

    The club was managing athlete registrations, session timetables, attendance records, and parent communications across multiple disconnected tools. There was no centralised system, no role-based access, and no way for parents to self-serve or track their child's progress.

    The Solution

    I designed and built a full-stack platform with role-based authentication (Owner, Coach, Parent, Athlete), a session scheduling engine, attendance tracking, a parent onboarding workflow, and an announcement system — all wrapped in a mobile-first responsive interface backed by a secure database.
